The Feast Hub is Feast’s buzzing central space, a curated precinct alive with special community events, programmed shows, and a pop-up bar, from the 5th to the 9th of November. At The Hub you can attend a workshop, catch a show, meet with community, and be part of the heartbeat of Feast Festival. The program is stacked with talent including Adore Händel, Christopher James, and Libby Trainor Parker, alongside immersive visual art such as a life-sized, rideable pink pony, plus sensual movement and erotic pottery workshops, all creating a full sensory playground of queer creativity. Prospect Town Hall, built in 1896 and refurbished in 2019, is a heritage-listed, fully accessibile venue.
Milo Hartill, bringing the South Australian premiere of Black, Fat and F**gy – a fearless cabaret diving into identity, influence, and the messiness of the moment. From underwear model to theatre maker, Milo belts everything from Mousse T to Nina Simone while unpacking fatness, bisexuality, race, and representation with sharp wit and unapologetic honesty.
The Feast Festival Gayla variety-show is hosted by Sydney’s AJ Lamarque (as seen on SBS’s Celebrity Letters & Numbers, and heard on ABC Evenings), joined by Milo Hartill and a sleuth of local and interstate legends. Expect stand-up, cabaret, ventriloquism, musical chaos, and enough queer brilliance to shake the rafters.
