Queer Flesh, Sacred Soul - Opening

Be part of something sacred.

Join multidisciplinary artist and Feast Festival’s Front Cover Commission winner, Oscar Arrais, for the exclusive opening night of Queer Flesh, Sacred Soul, an intimate event marking the debut of a bold new body of work exploring the emotional, spiritual and political layers of queer identity.

This powerful evening invites you to connect with twelve textile collages made entirely from reclaimed materials collected over the past four years, each one layered with memory, activism and personal transformation.

On opening night, five of these collages will be revealed for the very first time, giving collectors and supporters a rare opportunity to encounter works not shown to the public during the full exhibition.

Come experience queer art that transcends image and dives into soul. Expect thoughtful conversation, community, and a night charged with vulnerability, beauty and truth.

All original works and limited edition giclée prints will be available for purchase via www.arrais.com.au.

Ticket includes a drink on arrival.

Secure your place and witness the launch of a queer protest with reclaimed materials, a call to reflect, reconnect and rise.

Following a life-altering period of emotional upheaval and personal growth, he embraced mindfulness, creativity, and sustainability at the core of his being. His practice now centres on transforming reclaimed textiles into expressive collages, honouring his inner child, spiritual awakening, activism and a commitment to conscious creation.
