Feast PROGRAM ARCHIVES
Feast was founded in 1997 and celebrates Adelaide’s LGBTQIA+ community. Now in it’s 26th year, whilst we are developing Feast’s offering for the next generation, it’s important to honour the past.
In 2023, Feast began it’s archival project with the help of Adelaide Uni Pride club and Archivist Kansas Bird. We celebrate the history of Feast by preserving the Printed Program Guides right from the very beginning in 1997 and share these here for public viewing.
Click on each year to go back in time and see how Feast has evolved over the years, from when Don Dunstan, the former Premier of South Australia, launched the first ever Feast Festival and hosted his own event ‘Erotic Feast’ which featured Adelaide Icon’s Frank Ford and Ian Purcell, as they read their favourite erotic literature over a meal.
