Feast Festival

Rug down, sun up, nothing to pay. Picnic in the Park takes over Whitmore Square/Iparrityi for a day of DJs, live acoustic music, circus workshops, crafting and face painting, with market stalls, food trucks and a bar to keep you going. Cheer on the pups at the infamous Feast Dog Show, then stay as the light drops and South Australian favourite My Cherie warms up the crowd for headliner BVT. Totally free, all ages, and the queerest day on the calendar. Bring a rug, bring your mates, bring the dog.

This is a free event, thanks to the support of the City of Adelaide and AEDA!

About the presenter: Feast Festival

Feast Festival is South Australia's premier LGBTQIASB+ Arts and Cultural celebration. Nearly thirty years of Pridevember, and in 2026 we are turning it up.

Every November, Feast takes over Adelaide and regional South Australia with a program built on a simple conviction: queer art changes things. Burlesque, cabaret, drag, visual art, spoken word, comedy, film, music, and dance - alongside trivia nights, drag bingo, roller derby, fashion parades, erotic pottery, and Dungeons and Dragons. Because queer culture contains multitudes, and Feast is here for all of them.

The 2026 festival runs 1-22 November, combining a curated headline program with an open-access platform that invites anyone - sports clubs and family groups, theatre-makers and queer choirs, First Nations artists and community organisers - to register and be part of the festival. Half the program features new work or South Australian premieres. These artists are taking risks to share their stories. Our job is to show up.

Feast acknowledges the Kaurna people as the traditional custodians of the lands on which we celebrate. Let's Feast.
