SA Power Networks Regional Grant

Applications Open: NOW

Applications Close: 11.59pm ACST 22nd July 2025

In 2025, SA Power Networks is proud to provide 10 x $500 grants aimed at empowering South Australia queer artists and event organisers located in regional areas! This initiative has the potential to DOUBLE the amount of regional events in the Feast program, and will provide vital financial support to alleviate the burden of hosting an event regionally.

To be eligible, your Feast event registration must be completed by July 22nd, or until the funding allocation is exhausted (so get in quick!)

Terms and conditions:

  • The event must be located a minimum of 35kms from the CBD or be in the following designated regional areas: Adelaide Hills, Barossa Light and Lower North, Eyre and Western, Far North, Fleurieu and Kangaroo Island, Limestone Coast, Murray and Mallee, Yorke and Mid North.
  • Funds can be used to assist with anything from registration fees to venue hire, tech, artist fees, security hire or any other costs incurred for your Feast event.
  • Payment will be processed 30th September to the nominated account details in the registration platform.
  • Successful grant recipients will acknowledge SA Power Network’s support by including ‘Proudly supported by SA Power Networks’ on promotional material with supplied logo and use social media hashtags #SAPowerNetworks
  • The SA Power Networks Logo will appear on your event in the printed program.
  • Successful grant recipients are required to 
    • complete an acquittal within 60 days of the event completion,
    • supply up to 5 x high-quality photos and 1 x high-quality video (1-3 minutes) of the event, and
    • supply a short testimonial about how the grant helped with the event, and consent for these to be used in future marketing of the grant and festival.

How to apply:

You must have a registered Feast Festival event to be considered – Register Here 

  • In Step 2: About Your Event, select the appropriate region under the Event Location (Region) question. 
  • This response qualifies your event for the grant and a new prompt will appear in Step 9: Marketing, Promotion & Opportunities. If your event meets the T&Cs and you’d like to be considered for the grant, select the Yes option here. 
  • Finalise your registration. Recipients will be notified of the outcome following the close of our registrations (July 22nd).  

Registration Subsidies

Applications Close: 11.59pm ACST 22nd July 2025

In 2025 Feast is excited to work with local councils to offer subsidised registration fees for participating artists and event organisers – the scheme acknowledges the role that they play in the cultural life of the council area. Capped subsidies of up to $180 are available to assist individuals and groups with the costs associated with registering for Feast Festival.


Conditions apply and vary from council to council, with the following currently participating:

  • City of Charles Sturt
  • City of Port Adelaide Enfield
  • Campbelltown City Council
  • City of Prospect

Please note that some councils are only providing subsidies for artists and event organisers exhibiting within their council area, while others are also providing subsidies for those who reside in the their council area but are exhibiting in another.

How to apply:

You must have a registered Feast Festival event to be considered – Register Here 

  • In Step 1: About You, select the appropriate council area in the What council area do you reside in? question, OR
  • In Step 2: About Your Event, select the appropriate council area in the Event Location (Council Area) question.
  • These responses qualify your event for the grant and a new prompt will appear in Step 9: Marketing, Promotion & Opportunities notifying you of your eligibility.  If your event meets the T&Cs, the discount is then applied automatically at check-out (until allocation is exhausted).
  • Proceed to check-out to finalise any outstanding fees and finalise your Feast Festival registration!
