Become a Food Vendor at Picnic in the Park!

Are you ready to serve up your delicious food at Picnic in the Park on Saturday, 22nd of November? We’re looking for a diverse range of food options to get our patrons hungry!

Important Dates:

  • Registrations Open: 22nd of August
  • Registrations Close: 7th of October

To apply, please fill out the Expression of Interest form. This helps us understand your offerings, but please note that submitting the form does not guarantee a spot. We get lots of interest each year and can’t accept everyone, so use your EOI to show us what makes your food truck extra special. We will contact you to confirm your participation

Our drinks are sorted, thanks to our fabulous alcohol partners – no applications for bar service or drinks-only stalls will be accepted.

Bump-in will take place on Friday the 21st of November
Bump-out on the 23rd/24th of November

Picnic in the Park is an all ages event, held in Whitmore Square / Iparrityi this year from 11am to 9pm on Saturday the 22nd of November. Find out more about the event here

FAQ's

Site fee—Standard: $400 + GST

Site Fee—Large (Over 6m): $600 + GST

Power Fee: $160 + GST

Successful applicants will be notified by October 24th and then sent an invoice. Full payment must be received by the due date specified in the invoice. Failure to pay by the due date may result in forfeiture of the stall allocation.

  • Food vendors cannot bring their own generators. 15A power will be supplied to each food stall location if required
  • You will be supplied with the number of outlets requested, at the rear of each allocated position
  • Food vendors must provide their own 1-phase cables to connect to outlets, placed within 15m
  • All appliances and leads must have current test tags AND be in safe condition to use
  • White DOMESTIC extension leads will NOT be accepted for use in a commercial environment

Food vendor locations are determined by the festival based on vendor footprint, power requirements, and a variety of options across the site. Locations are non-negotiable, and if you do not arrive at your designated bump-in time, your position will be forfeited.

  • Include affordable pricing options
  • Provide vegetarian, vegan and allergy-friendly options
  • Demonstrate sustainable practices—no single-use plastics allowed
  • Bring something fun, bold or unique to the table
