WORK WITH US

Feast Festival is Adelaide’s LGBTQIA+ Arts & Cultural Festival. Each November we celebrate diversity and showcase the strengths and resilience of LGBTQIA+ people and communities.

Feast is a not-for-profit organisation staffed by a very small team of committed professionals, governed by a voluntary Board, and supported by our generous and passionate volunteers.

Leading up to the Festival we expand our small team with seasonal staff and have employment opportunities ranging from one day to two months.

Feast Festival is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values diversity in the workplace. As such we encourage and support applications from people from diverse backgrounds for any jobs that might currently be available.

For information about volunteering opportunities, please see our Volunteer  page.

Are you Feast Festival's next treasurer?

Feast Festival is South Australia’s leading LGBTQIA+ arts and cultural celebration, running for over 28 years. As we grow and evolve into our next strategic chapter, we’re seeking a Treasurer to join our voluntary board and support our mission to create inclusive, community-led programming with long-term sustainability.

We’re looking for someone with financial qualifications or experience in financial management, ideally with an understanding of the not-for-profit, arts or community sectors. You’ll work closely with Feast’s CEO and external bookkeepers to provide financial oversight, ensure compliance, and help guide the organisation’s financial strategy.

As Treasurer, you will:

  • Review and provide advice on Feast Festival’s monthly and annual financial reports, budgets, and cash flow forecasts

  • Support the CEO and external finance contractors with compliance and annual audit

  • Be a co-signatory on Feast bank accounts and grant reporting obligations
  • Present key financial updates at board meetings and help ensure financial policies and procedures are robust and up-to-date.

  • Assist with long-term planning to support Feast’s strategic growth and funding diversification, including philanthropy, sponsorship, and earned income

  • Contribute to a governance culture that’s collaborative, transparent, and values community input

Feast Festival is based in Adelaide, and meetings are typically held monthly in the early evening. All Board members are required to hold a current Working With Children Check

If you’re interested in contributing your skills to one of South Australia’s most vibrant and impactful cultural organisations, we’d love to hear from you.

Please apply below, you can also request a confidential phone call from the CEO to learn more about the role, by emailing tish@feast.org.au
