Wild Robot

Gather with fellow Rainbow Families for a screening of DreamWorks' The Wild Robot.

The Wild Robot is a beautifully animated adaptation of Peter Brown’s beloved novel, following Rozzum Unit 7134, or Roz (voiced by Lupita Nyong’o), a robot who wakes up alone on a remote, wild island after the cargo ship carrying her crashes during a storm. Her journey takes a turn when she adopts a young orphaned gosling named Brightbill (voiced by Kit Connor), forging a deep and touching bond that helps her discover what it truly means to be alive. Guided by the wisdom of Fink (voiced by Pedro Pascal), a fox with a sharp wit, and watched over by the stoic and powerful Thorn (voiced by Bill Nighy), an elder bear, Roz's presence begins to change the island forever. The Wild Robot is a tale of nature, technology, and the power of love and connection in the unlikeliest of places.

The film won nine Annie Awards, Best Animated Feature at the Critics' Choice and Producers Guild Awards, and earned three Academy Award nominations, making it DreamWorks' most-nominated film at the Oscars.
