David Roche Gallery was opened in 2016 to display the decorative and fine art collection of David J Roche AM (1930–2013). Located on Melbourne Street in North Adelaide, the gallery comprises David Roche’s former home Fermoy House, and state-of-the-art galleries designed by Adelaide firm Williams Burton Leopardi. Fermoy House is furnished with over 3,500 works of art collected by David Roche, and is open for guided tours. The galleries display a changing program of decorative and fine art exhibitions. David Roche Gallery also presents a diverse program of lectures, concerts, and special events throughout the year. Note: Limited free parking is available on-site, including one designated disabled car park. Travelling either in or out of the city, catch the Adelaide Metro bus (any of 202F, 206, 208, 271, 273) and leave the bus at Stop #3 on Melbourne Street. Once alighting, you have a 2-minute walk to the Gallery, which is located on the south side of Melbourne Street.
