Discover Adelaide Zoo like never before with this exclusive Feast Festival guided tour celebrating the extraordinary diversity of sex, reproduction and social behaviours found throughout the animal kingdom.

Led by one of our expert guides, this unique experience is rich in storytelling and grounded in science, inviting you to explore the zoo through a whole new lens. Meet incredible species including Little Penguins, Giraffes and Komodo Dragons, while uncovering the remarkable behaviours of their animal relatives from around the world. Along the way, you'll discover everything from same-sex pair bonds and female-led societies to asexual reproduction, cooperative breeding and fish that naturally change sex.

Designed to inspire curiosity and celebrate biodiversity, Beaking the Binary reveals that nature is far more diverse than many people realise. Each stop offers a fresh perspective on the animals we share our planet with and the remarkable ways they have evolved to survive and thrive.

Your ticket includes Adelaide Zoo admission for the duration of the guided tour, and you'll receive a Beaking the Binary booklet packed with fascinating animal facts, scientific insights and additional species to continue your discovery at home.
