Pulteney 431
Adelaide / Kaurna
Pulteney 431, often referred to as ‘The Club’ or ‘431’, has been operating continuously in Adelaide for over 45 years, catering to the gay, bi-sexual and bi-curious male community as a safe and friendly haven to relax and enjoy the club’s facilities whilst meeting other likeminded men. The Club opened 7 October 1977 and is therefore one of Australia’s longest serving venues for the gay and bi-sexual community. It has always been the aim of the owners and management to provide a venue in which men can meet other men of diverse sexuality, cultures, age and stature in a non-threatening environment whilst promoting safe on site sexual practices.

We honour and respect queer First Nations communities, including Sistagirls and Brothaboys, and recognise the enduring connection between culture, identity, community and Country.
