The nuclear family has never been the only way to create a family. More women than ever, queer and straight, are building families on their own terms, through donor insemination, IVF, fostering and adoption.

The SMBC Summit brings together world-leading researchers who have spent decades studying solo-mother families, clinicians who understand fertility, pregnancy and parenting outside the two-parent model, and the women living it.
