Feast Festival is Adelaide’s Premier LGBTQIA+ Arts and Cultural Festival. Now in its 28th year Feast showcases emerging and established artists from both local and interstate LGBTQIA+ communities.

Mixed Bag Events (Previously Mixed Bag Poetry and Mixed Bag Adelaide) is a sole-produced events community on Kaurna Land. Cecilia Ronson (She/They), the founder and creator, has always strived to create safe spaces for the Mixed Bag Community.

“Mixed Bag” started as an open-mic poetry night, hosting monthly events and catering to the spoken word scene. The Mixed Bag brand then started to expand, and since the original “Mixed Bag Poetry”, MBE has created “Fresh Off The Press” and “Friday Nights at the Piccadilly”. MBE has also collaborated with other communities to create “Scramble Slam” and “Master Mic”.

In 2024 MBE created “Mixed Bag Mixer”, an event that invites creatives from all around Adelaide to celebrate the performing arts scene. MBE hopes to make this event an annual production.
