About the presenter: Phoebe Rodger

Phoebe Rodger (she/her) is a music theatre and cabaret performer & writer from Adelaide, recently graduating her Bachelor of Music Theatre at the Elder Conservatorium. In 2026, she debuted her original solo musical comedy cabaret show “Phoebs, You’re a Lesbian” at the Adelaide Fringe, winning a Weekly Best of Cabaret Award and the Feast Festival Award. She then toured the show to Sydney for the Qtopia Sydney Pride Fest. Phoebe’s music theatre credits include: Mary Magdalene in Well-Behaved Women (Australian Music Theatre Festival, dir. Ylaria Rogers), Ensemble and Cover Anna in Frozen (The Very Popular Theatre Company, dir. Madison Thew-Keyworth), Something Special (Perform! Education, Echelon Productions), Lydia from Beetlejuice in What We See From Here (ECMT/Homegrown, dir. Ben Nicholson and Nick Hedger), Miss Jones in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (ECMT, dir. Erin James), Jack’s Mother, Granny, and Giant in Into the Woods (ECMT, dir. Miranda Middleton), Caterpillar in Alice by Heart (ECMT, dir. Erin James), and Chorus in Candide (State Opera South Australia and State Theatre Company South Australia, dir. Mitchell Butel). In 2025, Phoebe was a finalist for the Homegrown Australia Emerging Writer’s award.
