FEAST ON...

Feast Festival Presents

The Feast Festival Gayla

Get ready for a night of laughs at Feast Festival’s iconic Gayla. Hosted by Adelaide comedy queen Lori Bell, expect cheek, charm and a few curveballs you definitely didn’t see coming.

This year’s lineup brings together some of the sharpest queer comics from around the country. Special guest AJ Lamarque jets in from Sydney – as seen on SBS’s Celebrity Letters & Numbers and heard across ABC Evenings. From Melbourne, Feast headliner Milo Hartill storms the stage – a comedian, cabaret artist, influencer and self-described “terrifying talent".

They’re joined by a brilliant cast of interstate and local powerhouses:
- Adore Händel, everyone’s favourite pansexual, time-travelling songbird
- Christopher James, 2025 RAW Comedy finalist
- Bobby Macumber, stand-up, radio host and cricket commentator extraordinaire
- Libby Trainor Parker, award-winning cabaret performer, MC, author and comedian
- David Salter, expert ventriloquist joined by the ever-chaotic Dame Granny Smith Apple
- Cecilia Ronson, rising star, heartbreaker and raging lesbian

The Gayla is a festival highlight for good reason – anything can happen, and usually does. Whether you’re here for the comedy, the cabaret or just the chaos, this is one night you don’t want to miss.

Bring your mates, grab a drink, and settle in. This is a night that will leave your heart full and your cheeks sore.
Event Image Description A group of diverse performers stands against a backdrop of deep red stage curtains with pink vertical lighting, arranged in a layered collage style. The group includes people with microphones, colourful costumes, and expressive facial expressions. At the centre front, a person in a fluffy white hat and blue sweater with a bunny design sticks out their tongue and makes a playful rock hand gesture. To the left, a performer in blue patterned scrubs holds a stethoscope, with another performer laughing above them while holding a microphone. Above this person, someone in a hat and is carrying a green apple, the apple is dressed in a pink feathered costume and has drag makeup on. In the back, a comedian holding a microphone runs their hand through their hair, while next to them, a person wearing glasses and a silver chain necklace stretches their arms out wide. On the right, a drag queen in dramatic white makeup and tall hair stands above another comedian laughing into their microphone, and below them, a performer in a glittery gold dress pulls a funny expression while speaking into their microphone. The overall scene conveys a lively, fun, and theatrical atmosphere.

Learn More About the Artist/Producer...

Feast Festival is South Australia’s premier LGBTQIA+ Arts and Cultural celebration.

Now in its 28th year, Feast returns from 1–23 November 2025 with its biggest program in over a decade. Across 23 days, more than 1, 500 artists, producers, volunteers, and community members will deliver 115+ events spanning burlesque, cabaret, drag, visual art, spoken word, comedy, film, music, and dance.

In 2025, we mark 50 years since the decriminalisation of homosexuality in South Australia with the theme LIBERATION.

This year’s program includes more free events than ever, with live music celebrating Adelaide’s status as a UNESCO City of Music.

Feast is a celebration of culture and connection. Alongside the arts, you’ll find trivia nights, drag bingo, roller derby, fashion parades, erotic pottery, Dungeons & Dragons, and more.

Feast is a platform for discovery and daring, with half the program featuring new work, creative developments, or South Australian premieres. These artists are taking risks to share their stories; now it’s our turn to show up, engage, and celebrate them.

Let’s Feast.
